Paiement's egg tempera on panel painting Hybrids--Isoptera Lightbulbae, 2002 was purchased by the collection of John W. Hechiniger before his death in 2004. After his death his collection Tools As Art was purchsed by International Arts & Artists (IAA), Washington DC. IAA has produced a traveling exhibition of Hechinger's collection titled Tools As Art: Work As Play curated by Sarah Tanguy. It is on tour from now until 2029 and it's first stop is the Knoxville Art Museum in Knoxville, Tennessee.
